Position Overview:
BTS and Bolton College have two exciting opportunities for Carpentry and Joinery Tutors to join us on a permanent basis. We are looking for a Carpentry and Joinery Tutor to teach full-time students at the college as well as a Carpentry and Joinery Work Based Tutor to support apprentice learners. You’ll be joining a fantastic construction department, committed to delivering a high level of education and preparing learners for a career in construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- As the Carpentry & Joinery Tutor, you will be responsible for the delivery of high quality practical and theoretical lessons and supporting learners to achieve.
- As the Carpentry & Joinery Work Based Tutor, you’ll be responsible for supporting and assessing apprentice learners in the workplace as well as reviewing performance with employers.
Qualifications & Experience (Roofing Tutor):
- Carpentry & Joinery or related industry recognised qualification.
- A teaching qualification is desirable; however, Bolton College will support the right candidate to achieve a teaching qualification alongside the position.
- Experience of teaching is a bonus!
