Apply nowProtocol are working closely with a local Council in their search for experienced Counselling/ Mental Health and Wellbeing tutors and assessors to join their Adult Education provisions.
The roles;
For these positions hours and days are varied and flexible so the council take on individual availability, all courses run on temporary on-going basis.
Tutoring/ lecturing and assessing positions available include;
- Counselling L2/L3 (now and September)
- Mentoring L1/L2 (now and September)
- Developing Effective Thinking Skills L1(September).
- Placement Observations for Mental Health Awareness – Level 1 Award (TQUK)
- Alcohol Awareness – level 1 Award (NCFE)
- The Role of the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo)
- Understanding Autism – Level 2 Certificate (NCFE)
- Understanding Autism – Level 3 (NCFE)
- Allergy Awareness in Children – Level 2 (TQUK)
- Bullying in Children & Young People – Level 2 (TQUK)
- Information, Advice & Guidance – Level 2 (NCFE)
- Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care – Level 2 (NCFE)
- Special Education Needs & Disabilities – Level 2 Certificate (TQUK)
- Understanding Children & Young Peoples Mental Health – Level 2 (TQUK)
- Understanding Mental Health – Level 3 (NCFE)
- Understanding Nutrition and Health – Level 2 (NCFE)
- Working in Mental Health – Level 2 (NCFE)
- Working with Individuals with Learning Disabilities – Level 2 (NCFE).
The person;
For all of the positions a level 3 qualification in a relevant field and a teaching or assessing qualification would be essential. Any expereince delivering or assessing the above areas will be considered and if there is crossover in experience the same tutor/ assessor can be considered for multiple positions.
