Position Overview:

We have a great opportunity for a Professional Build Tutor to join Bolton College on a permanent basis. As the Professional Build Tutor, you will play a key role in delivering a high quality of education across areas of construction including design, planning and site management. You will be delivering a mixture of practical and theoretical sessions to full-time students with the aim of preparing learners for a career in the construction industry.  



Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver lessons to cover the T-Level professional build curriculum to learners aged 16 to 19.
  • Plan and prepare lessons to ensure an organised delivery and maximise learner experience.
  • Provide guidance to learners on both a group and one to one level, to support individual achievement.
  • Assess student learning and progress through appropriate methods.



Qualifications & Experience:

  • Construction site management or related industry recognised qualification.
  • A teaching qualification is desirable; however, Bolton College will support the right candidate to achieve a teaching qualification alongside the position.
  • Experience of teaching is a bonus!
