About the Role
Protocol is working with a college based in Richmond to find a talented Digital Marketing Officer. In this role, you’ll be crucial in driving student recruitment by managing digital campaigns, enhancing the website, and boosting engagement across social media channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Management: Execute and optimise digital marketing campaigns, including paid ads on Google and social media platforms.
- Website & SEO: Manage website content, implement SEO strategies, and track performance.
- Social Media Strategy: Develop and deliver engaging social media content and campaigns.
- Content Creation: Create digital content (graphics, videos, blogs, emails) aligned with the college’s branding.
- Email Marketing: Design and execute email campaigns to engage prospective students.
- Analytics: Track and report on campaign performance using analytics tools to refine strategies.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven digital marketing experience, including paid ads and content creation.
- Strong knowledge of Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and SEO.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) and email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp).
- Analytical mindset with experience using tools like Google Analytics.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Desirable
- Experience in the education or public sector.
- Creative skills in design or video editing.
Qualifications
- Degree or relevant qualification in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or similar.
- GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent).
- Digital marketing certifications (e.g., Google Ads, HubSpot) are a plus.
