Position: Art and Design Lecturer
Location: Romford, East London
Working Hours: Full-Time, 36 hours per week across 5 days
About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and qualified Art and Design Lecturer to join our team at an FE College in Romford, East London. This role involves delivering engaging and innovative lessons in Art and Design, including some 3D elements, to students at various levels.
Essential Skills and Abilities:
- Must be a qualified teacher with one of the following qualifications: PGCE, QTS, or Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training.
- Experience in teaching Art and Design with some 3D elements.
- Experience in conducting assessments for BTEC Level 1-3 and UAL Level 3.
- Ability to complete administrative tasks associated with teaching efficiently and effectively, including timely completion of registers.
- Understanding of and compliance with Safeguarding legislation, ensuring best practices are embedded in all working practices.
- Ability to deliver a variety of pedagogic strategies to suit different learning styles.
- Well-organized, reliable, and punctual.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience working in a Further Education (FE) College setting.
- Experience working in an educational establishment.
Additional Information:
- Free visitors parking is available at the Romford campus. The car park is on the left as you approach the campus, with a barrier that will raise on entry and exit. No tokens or vehicle registration entry is required as security is on site.
- Upon signing the visitors’ book at Main Reception, candidates will receive an ID badge.
- The campus coffee shop is available for use, accepting both cash and card payments.
