We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Creative Writing Tutor to deliver a series of engaging workshops at the historic Donnison School Heritage Centre in Sunderland.
About the Role:
You will lead a weekly 2-hour session designed to inspire and develop participants’ creative writing skills in a supportive and stimulating environment. Sessions will run every Friday morning from 16 May to 25 July 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver weekly creative writing workshops tailored to adult learners.
- Encourage participation and confidence in writing through structured exercises and open discussion.
- Support individual development in a welcoming and inclusive setting.
- Provide feedback and guidance to help participants grow as writers.
About You:
- A background in creative writing, literature, or a related field.
- Experience facilitating workshops or teaching creative writing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for nurturing creativity and self-expression in others.
