Job Title: Lecturer in Business & Law

Salary: £28,385 – £41,782 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

 

About the Role: An established and well-respected educational institution in Cambridge is seeking a passionate and dedicated Lecturer in Business to join their growing Business team. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire and guide learners at Level 2 and Level 3, delivering engaging and high-quality education in Business.

You will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons, providing tutorial support, and ensuring students achieve their full potential. Supported by an experienced Assistant Head of Department, you will contribute to course design, student assessment, and the overall success of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning in Business at Level 2 and Level 3.

  • Provide tutorial and pastoral support to students, fostering a positive learning environment.

  • Design and maintain teaching materials, including lesson plans, assignments, and online resources.

  • Support the work experience programme and engage with local employers.

  • Participate in course design, curriculum development, and team collaboration.

  • Ensure compliance with college policies on safeguarding, equality, and health and safety.

 

Requirements:

  • A relevant qualification in Business or substantial industry experience.

  • A teaching qualification (Level 5) or willingness to work towards one.

  • Proven experience in delivering teaching or training.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

  • A passion for supporting student success and development.
