Job Title: Carpentry Lecturer

Location: East of England, Cambridgeshire-based College

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £28,385 – £41,782 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality carpentry lessons to Level 1 students.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Support students in developing practical skills and theoretical knowledge.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Relevant qualifications in Carpentry (minimum Level 3 or equivalent).
• Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed) or willingness to work towards one.
• Experience in teaching or training within the carpentry or construction industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
