Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and committed Teacher of English to join our team in Northamptonshire. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching GCSE English and Functional Skills and be enthusiastic about supporting learners to achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess high-quality English lessons at GCSE and Functional Skills levels
• Track and monitor student progress, offering constructive feedback to support achievement
• Collaborate with curriculum and support teams to improve teaching and learning outcomes
• Participate in recruitment events and contribute to curriculum development and planning
• Ensure safeguarding, wellbeing, and inclusive practices are consistently upheld

Essential Requirements

• Degree-level qualification
• Teaching qualification (or willingness to achieve one)
• Experience delivering English at GCSE level
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills
• Excellent communication and a learner-centred approach
