Offender learning & skills service recruitment

OLASS is designed to help improve offenders’ prospects when they enter back into society, so they can make a positive difference. We work closely with candidates and clients to match the right person to the right role.OLASS helps to integrate offender education with mainstream academic and vocational learning, to help offenders integrate back into society, and improve their job prospects. As such, it can be an extremely challenging area of the education, skills and training sector to work in, but it’s very rewarding.

So, whether you’d like us to help you source the right candidate for your vacancy, or you’d like a new opportunity in offender learning and skills, get in touch with us. We recruit for permanent, temporary and sessional roles in lecturing and teaching, training, and community support positions.

Candidate screening process

We have an advanced screening process in place for all of our candidates, which includes Ministry of Justice security vetting checks and online DBS checks. Using eSafeguarding software, enhanced DBS checks can often be completed within 24 hours, and 4/5 are returned within three days – so you can get started quickly!

Long-term relationships

At Protocol, we fully believe that recruitment is a people business. It’s what makes us unique to other recruitment agencies, and is why clients and candidates come back to us repeatedly.

If you’re a client on the lookout for an enthusiastic candidate to fill your OLASS vacancy, we’ll take the time to get to know you, your needs and your vacancy.

We like to build long-term relationships with our candidates too, and get to know the person behind the CV. That way, we can match the right candidate with the right job.
