Apply nowProtocol are working with University College Birmingham to recruit for a Support and Access Arrangement Coordinator to work within their Learning Services team.
The College
The college is Ofsted rated ‘Good’ and has a friendly and vibrant community. The university was nominated and won “University of the year for 2021-2022” demonstrating the institutions strong teaching, hubs and facilities.
The role
The role has various hours available, and will be reviewed on a termly basis but is likely to last for the whole academic year.
The rate of pay is £19.49 per hour plus statutory holiday pay!
The purpose of the role is to assess the support and examination needs for identified students in accordance with JCQ and examination board regulations and complete appropriate paperwork/applications for access arrangements. To produce accurate records for inspection and GDPR purposes.
The Person and Qualifications
Experience of completing necessary Form 8 JCQ paperwork in relation to access arrangements.
Experience of carrying out access arrangements assessments with a view to establishing exam concessions/ other reasonable judgements.
Qualifications: A recognised accredited qualification in access arrangement assessment (e.g. PAPAA; CPT3A; PG Cert L7) with a minimum of 100 hours experience of individual specialist assessment.
Hold a DBS on the update service or be willing to get one!
