Protocol are delighted to be recruiting for a CIPD Tutor(HR Law) based in a college within Nottinghamshire. You will be required to deliver “law based units only”.
We are seeking candidates who are passionate about business and management and have the drive and motivation to help learners to progress in their careers, increase their employability and support their personal development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Human Resources and strong knowledge within HR Law.
You will help the team to deliver co-ordinated, integrated learning programmes; ensuring learners receive a high quality learning experience and strive to maintain above average success rates in all areas. The candidate will be expected to use innovation within their teaching and assessing, utilising e-learning opportunities where appropriate.
This position would be to start in November delivering on Wednesday evenings (6:00pm-9:00pm) until January, with further courses starting in March 2021.
The role will consist of delivering the following units:
- 1 Understand the purpose of employment regulation and the way it is enforced in practice.
- 2 Know how to manage recruitment and selection activities lawfully.
- 3 Know how to manage change and reorganisation lawfully.
- 4 Know how to manage issues relating to pay and working time lawfully.
- 5 Be able to ensure that staff are treated lawfully when they are at work.
- 6 Know how to manage performance and disciplinary matters lawfully.
The person & qualifications
- Level 5 related CIPD qualification
- Experience of delivering CIPD to Level 5
- Hold a teaching qualification
