Apply nowProtocol are proudly working with a forward-thinking FE provider in Nottingham to recruit a dynamic individual qualified to assess, challenge, support and coach learners studying on their hairdressing courses.
This is a great opportunity for a dynamic, professional individual qualified in Hairdressing to join a forward thinking college to develop and assess across a range of courses and across all disciplines within the field of Hairdressing.
As a Hairdressing Assessor/Coach you will be required to deliver and assess practical aspects of the vocational programmes. You will provide on-going support, coaching and guidance to individual learners, utilising resource packages and on-going assessment. You will need to be qualified to at least level 3 within Hairdressing and hold an assessor qualification. You will be highly self motivated, energetic and a driven individual, encompassing a strong sense of autonomy. You will possess strong presentation and communication skills and be able to demonstrate achievement targets.
This role is offering hours on Thursdays 1.30pm – 6.30pm starting on the 15th of April and running on a temporary on-going basis.
The person and qualifications
- Hold a Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject (Hairdressing)
- Hold an Assessors award
- Have experience assessing hairdressing students across a range of levels (1-3)
