Protocol are working with an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ college who are looking for a Practical Lecturer in Animal Studies to join their team, on a part time temporary contract from the October half term up until December/Feb half term.

The ideal candidate will have a broad range of knowledge and industry experience working with a wide range of animals including small mammals, exotics and large animals, coupled with an excellent knowledge base in Animal Health, Biology, Behaviour, Nutrition and Welfare and experience of working with young people.
Deliver practical sessions for Animal Studies courses L1 – L3
The person & qualifications
Holds a teaching qualification or willingness to undertake one
Has significant industry experience with a range of companion/zoo/exotic animal species
Hold a Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject
Has an enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain
