Protocol is working with an education provider in South Yorkshire in the recruitment to the post of Programme Manager – Health, Social Care, Science, Childcare and Education.
The post holder will provide line management direction, motivation and be responsible for building a dedicated and skilled team that will optimise learner enrolment, retention and success rates against targets and benchmarks.
The post holder will be responsible for providing curriculum and operational leadership, undertaking responsibility for the development, design, quality and evaluation of a range of full, part-time and flexible programmes offered by the Department. Also, to assist the Head of Department in a range of activities that will contribute to improving curriculum excellence.
The person & qualifications
- Subject specific Degree or professional qualification at Level 4
- Teaching qualification (PGCE/Cert Ed/QTS)
- Assessor/Verifier Awards (D32/D33D34 or A1/V1)
- Literacy/Numeracy Level 2 (or equivalent GCSE Grade C or above)
- Evidence of CPD update
- Management qualification (desirable)
- 5 years’ teaching experience in a relevant curriculum area, including course co-ordination
- Evidence of having carried out and maintained good practice in the teaching role
- Management experience in a curriculum area (desirable)
