Protocol are proud to assist with the new appointment of a Governor for the HCUC organisation, encompassing both Harrow College and Uxbridge College. This forward thinking, dynamic college will be continuing to ensure it plays a critical role in the economic success and social cohesion for the London area.

This is a truly exciting time for the college, alongside the recent appointment of a new CEO, HCUC has been chosen to develop one of the Institutes of Technology and are presently involved in the Mayors Construction Academy – led by the GLA.

The Governing body is made up of 16 members of, and we’re seeking a qualified, financially focused Governor to aid in achieving the strategic aims & objectives of the College, whilst continuing to service the local communities by creating choice, opportunities and success.

The successful candidate is expected:

  • to contribute advice and views on issues brought to meetings based on their specialist knowledge and experience
  • to become a member of one or more of the Corporation Sub-Committees
  • to be aware of the responsibilities of the Corporation and CEO/ Principal
  • to attend meetings on a regular basis and support the college in publicising the work of the college
