Protocol are proud to be working with a leading Adult Learning Organisation based in Birmingham. Our client is an Ofsted rated “Good” Provider with a successful history delivering learning to adults to help adults take a step to a brighter learning Future. Our client is seeking to appoint new Counselling Tutors able to deliver up to Level 3, in their teaching locations in Central Birmingham from September 2020 through to July 2021. The role will be delivering evening courses 6:00pm – 9:00pm with flexible days to be offered. 

Role responsibilities

  • Delivering Counselling at Level 3 to Adult Learners 
  • Helping with Schemes of Work for future delivery 
  • Keeping Learners engaged with modern teaching methods
  • Marking Learners work for improvements
  • Monthly meetings with line manager through Zoom or face-to-face to keep updated on curriculum changes and learner journey improvements. 

The person & qualifications

  • Level 4/5 Teaching Qualification 
  • Level 4/5 in Counselling or equivalent/transferable subject 
  • Recent experience delivering to adult learners 
  • hold a “C” or Level 2 qualification in Maths and English
