Protocol are seeking an experienced Carpentry & Joinery Lecturer for a part time, temporary position, delivering the C&G’s apprenticeship standards to level 2 learners based in Greater Manchester. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about carpentry & joinery and have the drive and motivation to help adult learners to progress in their careers, increase their employability and support their personal development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry & joinery, experience of teaching, and have strong organisational and communication skills in order to inspire and educate adult learners. Courses are given with the purpose of helping local people in to employment and improving their abilities.
The position will be teaching 20 hours per week (Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays).
- To teach C&G Apprenticeship standards level 2
The person & qualifications
- Hold a teaching qualification
- Must have experience teaching and assessing apprentices
- Hold a level 3 Carpentry & Joinery qualification – or equivalent
- Experience within the industry
