Protocol are working closely with a Further Education College based in Kingston in their search for two Inclusive learning lecturers and Exam Access Assessors.
The position will be working closely with learners who have a wide range of inclusive needs, ensuring that they are offered the maximum opportunity with education to meet their full potential. Individuals will demonstrate inspirational teaching, learning and assessment practice, work in partnership with the curriculum areas to plan a path for individual learners along with specific targets designed to guide and enable learners to succeed and progress. The successful individual will also be working in partnership with the exams and inclusive learning teams within the college to process and effectively deliver exam assess arrangements that meet JCQ requirements. Whilst also acting as a mentor for learners within the college by offering high standards of academic support and guidance.
There are both Part time OR Full time roles available and can be worked on a temporary on-going basis or Permanent placement within the college.
Have you got what it takes?
- A recognised specific learning difficulties qualification for teaching and assessing for exam access arrangements
- Successful recent record of assessing learners with a wide range of specific learning difficulties
- Qualified Teacher Status or a willingness to gain within 12 months of appointment
- Identifiable personal achievements in the specific learning difficulty field
- Successful and proven track record of specific learning difficulty teaching development that leads to improved success rates for learners
