Protocol have an exciting opportunity for a enthusiastic Animal Welfare and Management Lecturer to join our client’s dynamic team based in Northamptonshire on a full time temporary basis.

Our client provides a variety of Animal courses, and they are proving as popular as ever which is why they are looking to add to their team.

The College’s Animal Welfare facilities are second to none, and include a purpose built Animal Welfare Centre, an Animal Therapy Centre housing grooming and canine hydrotherapy units and an on-site commercial veterinary practice. 

The ideal candidate will have a broad range of knowledge and industry experience working with a wide range of animals including small mammals, exotics and large animals, coupled with an excellent knowledge base in Animal Health, Biology, Behaviour, Nutrition and Welfare and experience of working with young people.

Role responsibilities
Deliver Animal Welfare and Management courses L1 – L3

The person & qualifications
Hold a recognised teaching qualification 
Experience delivering Animal courses up to level 3 
Industry experience 
Hold a degree in a relevant subject
Holds an enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to get one
