We are working with an Ofsted registered ‘Good’ provider of Further Education based in Yorkshire, to recruit for an experienced Computer Science Lecturer.

You will be required to teach on various modules on the BTEC Introductory Diploma, BTEC First, and the BTEC National Extended. 

This role is to start after Easter on a part time basis, covering sick leave.

 

Role responsibilities

  • To teach students on the BTEC courses
  • To keep accurate records of students, assessments and resource use
  • Ensure good student behaviour, attendance and punctuality in all academic situations and report as necessary to the Subject Area Manager

 

The person & qualifications

  • Hold a recognised teaching qualification
  • Be familiar with BTEC vocational course work assessment and feedback
  • Be familiar with basic IT hardware systems (level 2) – ‘Computing in the workplace’ synoptic unit
  • Have a strong work ethic, be reliable and conscientious as well as have a good sense of humour!
