We are currently working with a social justice charity with more than 50 years’ experience of changing lives, building stronger communities and reducing crime. They house, educate, support, advise and speak out for disadvantaged young people and adults.
We are currently looking for a Tutor to support students aged 14+. If you have experience within any of the following subjects we would like to hear from you.
This is a sick cover role for a minimum of two months. Working 35 hours per week based at their site in Stoke-on-Trent.
- To manage a learners programme to enable them to reach their full potential
- Work with groups as well as within a 1-2-1 setting
- Prepare materials to aid learning
- Support learner pastoral needs
The person & qualifications
- Previous teaching and support experience
- A recognised teaching qualification
